James Cancer Fight

Update on James Mclane. Hello everyone, my bone marrow transplant was completed on Feb 26th. After one month stay in Emory, I was able to come home with lots of restrictions. I have not worked since Oct 2016, and this has created an extreme hardship for my family. Therefore I am asking for any assistance you can provide.

The doctors will not give me a release to return to work for a minimum of one year. My wife has missed so much time from her job since I am not released to drive yet. Debra's job has been amazing and understanding. But each time she is out thats income we loose, and causes stress on her co-workers.

My appointments are a minimum of two hours, or longer if I require any infusions. (liquids for dehydration, blood or platelets if my levels are too low) plus travel time of approx 40min each way. Generally I have appointment's 2-3 times per week.

As you can imagine the cost's indured with each visit is tremendous.  My 2017 deductible of $7,500 has been met, but we are unable to pay it right now. Along with copays for each visit, my 20% responsibility for any charges, and cobra insurance payments each month.
