James' Fast Recovery
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I've never done this before and if you know me or my family we are not ones to ask for help, but here we are because we would do anything for my baby cousin.
On Sept 2, 2020 James (16yrs old) was in a terrible skating accident. He was hopeful he could go down Sugarloaf Hill, but he lost control of his skateboard. He flipped down the hill and hit his head twice. He was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center and was originally placed in the ER then the CCU. James is now in the trauma intensive care unit on life support. He was diagnosed with a severe traumatic brain injury (swelling, bruising, bleeding to the brain stem, and a subdural hematoma). The doctors first performed an external ventricular drain to remove the fluid that was surrounding his brain. They then performed a craniectomy to relieve intracranial pressure. Afterwards, they put him under a medically induced coma after the pressure still did not subside. He is hanging on and fighting for his life, but we know he is in so much pain. The doctors have said they have done all that they could and now we are waiting on more test results and most importantly, for him to regain consciousness. We do not know if he will wake up, but with our faith in God and all his mighty glory he will bless our family with this miracle.
Please please please to anyone that knows him, that can help, or has a passion for skating please keep James in your thoughts and prayers. My family could use all the love right now.
We really appreciate any help you can give whether it be donating or even sharing this page.
We are begging for a fast recovery from this severe traumatic injury.
This is all for you Jimmy, I love you so much. Keep fighting.
