James Fields

James is one of the most helpful and kind hearted individuals that I have been lucky enough to not only be friends with but also work along side of. He has been an ER nurse at Piedmont Fayette for roughly 9 years but has been sharing his candy for much longer than that. He is known at Piedmont as the "Candy Man" because every single day he walks around the department offering everyone candy that he brings from home. James has unfortunatly been diagnosed with Covid-19 and is currently admitted in the IMCU unit. He is requiring oxygen but is maintaining high hopes. His wife, Mrs. Fields was also admitted for Covid-19 a few days after James and is doing well. This fund is to assist James and his family in recovering after discharge. We all know that he is going to wish to return to bedside ASAP but him and his wife deserve a little get away after this fearful experience. James has touched so many people with his kind heart and large hands.  If you are able to donate it would be very much appreciated. If not, that is completely understandable and all I ask is that you please keep him lifted in your prayers.
