James Frederick Thoelke (9-17-1996 to 4-24-2023)

Our precious son, brother, uncle and cousin James took his life Monday, April 24th, 2023. James had struggled for many years with deep feelings of worthlessness, and alcohol, a dangerous combination. The demons who tormented him wore him down to where he couldn't take anymore.
James' trials were not outwardly apparent. His smile was infectious and he willingly served others when asked. From the outpouring of support from members of his church community, we know that James was loved by many.
James had a love for all things related to movie-making and had hoped to be directly involved in that industry. He spoke recently and had begun action to attend college in the fall to "get back in the game" and move forward toward a career in film editing and/or production.
James leaves a huge hole in our hearts and will be missed until we all graduate from this mortal boarding school and meet again.
We are so grateful for the bedrock of our testimony and can say, like Job of old, "I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God." (Job 19:25-26)
In Memorium of and on James' behalf, this fund has been created to help cover the unexpected costs of funeral services and other expenses resulting from his loss. Please consider donating to his funeral expenses if you can do so. Please also forward this to anyone else who might have known and loved James.
Thank you for your prayers and thoughts,
