Hi, my name is Michael and I am fundraising for a very special family friend, James, that is going through the awful and traumatic times of cancer. Diagnosed with esophagus, as well as stomach cancers, this couple has had to uproot their lives from southwest GA to Houston, TX. Their housing as well as medical needs are very expensive and by donating, you would be doing a potentially life-saving deed for these sweet, determined, hardworking, loving, and caring people. The donations will go directly to the couple to aid their experience through these terrifying and tragic times that have struck their lives. Please pray for this couple and especially James who will undergo a clinical trial soon.           A very special message from Mrs. Shelli:

I wanted to take a moment, actually it’s been about 4 hours, to update everyone, thank everyone and encourage all of you. We have received so much advice, support, love and encouragement from family, old friends, new friends and total strangers. God TRUELY works in mysterious ways. James is doing really well. Besides being fatigued, he’s actually relaxing. He’s not in pain and he’s not on meds, for this I am TRUELY grateful. He will have chemo and radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks, 6 week break and then surgery. We are very optimistic. He has developed an appetite for Godiva milk chocolate with almonds and, I will say, he’s not good at sharing. The advice, physical help our family has received is nothing short of impressive! Family, old friends, new friends, strangers have pulled together to help in so, so many ways. From verbal support, social media, financial support, cleaning, cutting grass, taking care of our pet menagerie and even chasing down rogue chickens , we are overwhelmed with support. We’ve always known we were blessed but y’all, you are amazing!! What I find most impressive, is a lot of you are telling us how by helping us, your finding growth in your own lives. Guys, this isn’t about us it’s about all of us. As humans, we feel the need to rush, to change. Our lives are all so stressed these days. Sometimes, and I encourage everyone reading this, to stop, breath, support those you encounter, wether they be friend or stranger. Give God an opportunity to show you the crazy, mysterious and unfathomable ways he can touch your life. Join us, join the movement❤️
