James Heitman

On Wednesday, May 3rd, beloved James Kenyon Heitman passed away in a tragic accident. He leaves behind his loving wife Emily, his twin brother Alex, sister Katie, Mother and Father, John and Michelle, his 5 cats Ronnie, Reggie, Teddy, Justice and Murdock as well as many many more friends and family.

James was the definition of love. He was patient, kind and was compassionate. James was dependable to a fault. He was always there when it felt like nothing else was stable, and just simply a good man. As his wife Emily put it "There is no one else in the world like our James, and our world will never be the same. He gives the best hugs, is always willing to help anyone at the drop of a hat, and truly just the best person I have ever met. I am so lucky to have been loved by him, anyone that has been loved by him feels the same. Words cannot describe how badly he is already missed."

James graduated from Saint Louis University Law and spent his professional career as an Assitant Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis, which was the job he always dreamed of. James stated many times that "this is it" in reference to his position since he dedicated his life to the pursuit of justice. He was dedicated and diligent while maintaining a great connection to the victims of crime in the courtroom.

The Celebration of James’ life will be held at Jay B Smith funeral home, 777 Oakwood (at Hwy 141)

Fenton, MO 63026, on Saturday June 10th from 11-6 with services starting at 6PM.
