James Kynerd’s Hyperbaric Healing Journey

Help James Kynerd Regain Hope: Fund Life-Changing Hyperbaric Treatments.

Every once in a while, life throws us a curveball that we could never have anticipated. Our dear friend, James, is currently facing one of the toughest challenges life can offer – an anoxic tbrain injury. His journey has been a rollercoaster!!

On August 26th, James was involved in a motorcycle accident (through no fault of his own) that left him with a crushed trachea and multiple strokes. This left James unable to breathe on his own, unable to eat or speak, and little use of his left side.

After 61 days in the hospital and weeks of rehab, James defied the odds and came home! He was so proud of how hard he had worked and was doing everything he could to get back to his family. Especially his grandchildren, Andrew and Emma, who are his world!

Only 6 days later, the unexpected happen, James went into Pulmonary/ Cardiac arrest. This caused an anoxia brain injury and has left James in a coma.

Now, we are reaching out to our community, friends, and compassionate individuals near and far to help us raise the funds needed for James’s only hope for recovery– hyperbaric therapy.

Hyperbaric treatment involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber, allowing the body to absorb more oxygen, promoting tissue repair, and potentially leading to significant neurological improvements. However, this innovative therapy comes with a substantial cost and insurances does not cover it….. that's where we need your support. His wife, Vanessa has met with a Hyperbaric Specialist, and they believe that 2 weeks of intense treatment is James’s only hope for any type of recovery.
