James King as he burial expenses. Mar. 13, 2024

I'm Shelia, James King's wife. I'm raising money the help with medical and funeral expenses that insurances doesn't cover while fighting the battle of Large B-Cell Lymphoma Cancer, like the trips back and forth to the doctors, co-pays, deductibles. These all add up. This battle started on June 15, 2023. This Cancer is in his stomach, back, and now in his neck. We are praying and believing that God is going to heal him but until that time we are having to let the medical doctors help us along this way. From June 23 - Oct. 12, 2023 he has been hospitalized 5 times. The first time he was hospitalized for 2 weeks, and all the other times he was hospitalized for 5 to 6 days at a time. Each time he was hospitalized he was having to take 5 different types of chemo for 5 days. On Oct. 12, 2023 he was transferred over to Dr. Metha at the Kirklin Clinic. Dr. Metha is going to do what is called a Car-T Cell Therapy. The trips back and forth to the doctors and hospitals gets expensive. Any help is greatly appreciated. May God Bless You All.

As of June 3, 2023 James has not worked because of this journey. June 4th was the first ER visit as to why his was hurting in his stomach. Then it became CT scan, biopsy, doctor visits 3 or 4 days a week. So he hasn't worked since June 3, 2023. I continued to try to work as much as I could which would be a day or two a week. Then July 11, 2023 was my last day to work, I went on family medical leave.

As of right now, we know that his Car T-cells should be back to start this next process of all of this on Nov. 14th. They will do the Car T-cell infusion on Nov. 22 and will be in the hospital for 7 to 10 days. Thanks for all the prayers, and please keep them coming.
