Help James & Laura Finish Paying For Their Wedding

Hi everyone. Laura here. I can’t believe I’m saying this but unfortunately James was a victim of identity fraud this week, meaning that the rest of our savings to pay for our wedding were completely drained from his bank account.

With just four weeks to go (wedding day on 24th May) we were just about to finish paying for some of our biggest supplier bills. But before that happened, James found out that all the money had disappeared from his account. It’s been absolutely devastating for us, when this time is supposed to be the happiest time of our lives. But it’s put us in a precarious position and leaves a lot hanging in the balance.

We have been in contact with the appropriate authorities and it is now under investigation but this could take months to get the money back and there’s a potential we may not recover the money - his bank’s track record isn’t very good for these types of things apparently.

We hate to do this but we see no other option - no matter what you can spare, any donation would help us. If we get the money back we would like to give the money back to people so please show your name so that we can do that. But there’s no guarantee that we will get it back - we want to be as transparent as possible.
