Save our Local Landmark; built in 1930 it was Halley's One Stop for gas and convenience items. From the 1960s-1990s it was a local eatery called Hilltop Restaurant. Halley's/Hill Top was the primary gathering place for local folks where you could get all the latest news as well as "Good Coffee...Sorry Food...Sorry Service...Served by a Worn-Out Waitress". Our goal is to raise the funds to aid us in supplies needed to restore this building that is on the National Register of Historic Buildings in the Commercial District of the Town of Orange. The building will become an educational program site. We have experienced construction, plumbing and electrical workers willing to donate their time and talents and we seeking financing this restoration.
