In hour of my grandparents I’ve decided to cycle from Edinburgh to Manchester where I’ll be visiting family. I chose Age Scotland as a charity because it’s a cause very close to my heart as I’ve been working in Care looking after Pensioners and have seen how hard it can be for them as well as how overlooked they are. Which saddens me because I got to meet some incredible people and it’s been a great experience so far. On top of that their allowances were cut and they’re now struggling even more often having to choose between heating their house or eating food. And the temperatures are still cold enough to put them at risk.
