My name is Jacqui and James is my cousin. As some of you have already heard, others are just finding this out now, Jimmy has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with the inversion 16 mutation and is currently hospitalized at Cooper for treatment over the bext month. Jim has a beautiful family that he supports and loves very much. He's a Brother, a Son, a Cousin, a Nephew, a Grandson, a Partner, a Friend and most importantly a father of 3. Jim is very much loved and important to many people, especially by his children and partner Nancy and it would be awesome if we could show him that. Nancy, is beside herself but committed to standing by his side every step of the way. I am Nancy's person in friendship and choosen sisterhood and Nancy is Jim's person in heart and soul. I'm choosing to step up for her so that she may be able to step up for Jimmy and their family. As Jim was the main financial support in the household and him having to be hospitalized he's not able to work and support his family. It is unsure how long his recovery will be and when he will be able to resume life and work as usual. So, if everyone could please help out with whatever you are able to spare. I know that times are at an all time level of difficulty financially, but every penny counts. So, let's all show Jim and his family just how amazing his loved ones and community are and just how much he is truly loved and valued!!
