James McKibben needs our help and support

We are coming together on behalf of James McKibben.. Here in Key West there are many things that contribute to what it means to be apart of this community. We all have our issues but we come together to help our community with all bullshit aside when it comes to our livelihood and our island and our little piece of paradise that we call home. You may know him as Sugar Ray.. but James McKibben is one of ours. Late Sunday night / Monday morning… he was brutally beaten in a very inhumane way and undeserved manner. We want to thank the KWPD and the emts that responded to the 911 call without any understanding or reasoning to why they had to work so hard to literally save someone’s life to that extent. Now we need our one human family to come together to support James but also take a stand against this type of violence and come together to protect eachother and ensure our safety in this place we call home. It is a miracle and blessing that James survived long enough for him to be airlifted and stable long enough to be looking at a full recovery as of now. He is breathing on his own.. he can talk.. walk .. he is still himself.. but he has a long recovery with multiple facial reconstructive surgeries ahead…after coming off life support and against all the odds and risks.. these donations will go to him being able to take the time to recover without any income … possible insane hospital bills… basically the means to support the basics and necessities while taking the time to bounce back from this. Anything helps. And if anyone anywhere has any info reguarding the individuals involved in this horrific crime.. please come forward and notify the authorities.
