James McKinney's road to recovery from ICU
Donation protected
They say the three hardest things to say is “I love you”, “I’m sorry” and “Help me.” Although we have mastered being able to say, “I love you” and “I’m sorry”, we are finding it extremely difficult to say “Help me.” But we are now faced with having to say that.
On October 29, my husband suffered a medical emergency and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Gilbert Mercy. He was released Nov. 20th 2023. I am thankful that he was able to come home however, he will need 24hr care during his recovery. This emergency has created a financial hardship this past few weeks. His loss of income, as well as mine has taken a brutal hit. I stayed by his side the entire time and will continue to do so as he faces a lengthy recovery. Utilities, house and car payments, food and day to day expenses piled up when no money was coming in. Recovery will prolong these circumstances. Now we are asking for help, so that we can meet our needs. Any financial help will be truly appreciated and help us recover physically and financially.
Thank you,
James & Cassie McKinney
