James Pizzani Memorial Scholarship

In 1988, the James Pizzani Memorial Scholarship was created to memorialize a greatly loved and respected teacher. As the class graduating at the inception of this scholarship and Mr. Pizzani's most recent students, the WUHS Class of 1988 made a commitment to support the funding of this scholarship post graduation. Unfortunately, until now, the burden of funding this scholarship has fallen solely on the Pizzani family. With this gofundme drive, we hope to remedy that oversight.

The Pizzani Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior to encourage and assist the pursuit of a career in a Technical Field, Trade or Certificate Program. Eligible programs include, but are not limited to: Hairdressing/Cosmetology, Plumber, Electrician, Auto Mechanic/Technology, Computer Technology, Technicians, Graphics Art, Welding, Fire Safety, EMT, LNA, Accounting, Agricultural Business, Management and

Production, Hospitality Service Management, Massage Therapist, Early Childhood

Education/Child Care, Carpentry, Logging/Timber Harvesting, Heavy Equipment Operator, Law

Enforcement, and Vet Tech.

Mr. Pizzani made a lasting and dramatic impact on generations of students in the WUHS community. His presence, integrity, commitment to excellence and love of students carried through each and every interaction both within and outside the classroom. With this funds drive, we the Class of 88, hope to keep his spirit and legacy alive for WUHS students for many years to come.
