James Reid Recovery and Rehabilitation Support

Donation protected

James Reid, Kelowna musician and carpenter, brother of 6, uncle of 4, and well-loved friend, was assaulted on November 30th in downtown Kelowna. He received a severe head injury which left him almost dead with a fractured skull and bleeding in his brain. If the ambulance had arrived 10 minutes later the doctors said he wouldn’t have made it. He’s been in the Critical Care Unit at Kelowna General Hospital since the accident. He’s showing signs of improvement but will be in the hospital for several more days or weeks.

The doctors say James’s road to recovery will be a long one. He has months of rehabilitation and various medical and specialist expenses ahead to treat his brain injury.  He has some medical coverage but it won’t be enough to cover all that he will need for the most successful recovery. We don’t know when or if he will be able to work again, so this funding will help to support him on the  journey ahead.

Any and all support you can provide would be most gratefully accepted.

Below is a link to his album as well if you’re interested in supporting him through the  purchase of his music.
