James Sheffer’s life was quickly and unexpectedly turned upside down after a severe foot infection caused him to have his right lower leg amputated. James Sheffer is a successful Chiropractor in Independence, MO with a busy and thriving practice. He is a devoted husband and father, president of the elders in his church, and has 6 boys with his wife Heather. Recovery will be long and difficult and he is unable to work until his leg is well enough to walk with a prosthetic. With James unable to work, his business is in jeopardy as well as the obvious unexpected medical bills, while trying to provide for a family of 8. James is one of the most selfless people I know and he is always giving and always wanting to help those in need. This is a very difficult ask for James and Heather.
