James Snider (Jimmy) Memorial Fund for Final Expenses
Donation protected
Tuesday, September 3rd, at 6:01 pm, my uncle James Snider (Jimmy) passed away. The weeks leading up to his passing were filled with an overwhelming abundance of information. We are still processing everything that has happened and the emotions that go along with that.
Jim was admitted to the hospital on August 14th. Only a week later, he was discharged into hospice care, being told he had days, if not weeks, left. Jim was the funniest person I have ever known. He loved hard and would always lend an ear. He cared for animals and his family with all his heart. One of Jimmy's favorite things was meeting and collecting memorabilia from celebrities. He would send them drawings he had done and was so charismatic he easily built relationships with them, even if just through letters. He was an extremely talented artist. Jim leaves behind a family that loved him and who will remember all the wonderful things about him.
Due to the speed at which Jim was first notified of his disease, there was little time to prepare for his passing. He had no life insurance, savings, or means to pay for a funeral. If you would like to contribute to covering his final expenses, please donate. Funeral details to come, and it will be streamed for those not local. (We have not confirmed a funeral date. They make you choose one, so this is tentative.)
