James Staples - Memorial Fund

James Monroe Staples was born on January 27, 1951 in Greenwood, Mississippi.  He was an alumnus of Jackson State University and proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity (Fall 70).  James had a passion for helping young people and dedicated much of his life's work to  helping them realize their fullest potential.  His desire to help others and that big smile will be much remembered.  

James is survived by his only daughter, Aja Staples.

James was deeply loved by his family, friends and those whose lives he touched.  He will be greatly missed.  

Due to his unexpected passing on January 31, 2021, Aja and family are seeking support to pay for funeral/memorial costs and legal costs.    We are hoping to meet our fundraising goal as soon as possible.   We appreciate any support you are able to provide.
