Jamie and her fight with Cervical Cancer

Jamie is one of our unbelievably kind and caring veterinary nurses that is going through the absolute unimaginable. She has been with VEG Tampa since we were bought from another emergency hospital in 2018. She is a credentialed veterinary nurse, veterinary specialist in internal medicine and working on her VTS in emergency and critical care currently. In the end of 2019 she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer- Stage 3 and went through extensive treatment, including 6 weeks radiation (33 doses total) & 6 rounds of chemo, along with a radical surgery and was considered cancer free at the end of 2020. Not just 16 months later she started having lower back pain and after multiple scans at Moffitt Cancer center came to conclusion an enlarged lymph node that has been pushing on her spine that has metastasized, She now has to go through 5 weeks of radiation (25 doses, Monday through Friday) and chemo once weekly. We started this GoFundMe with the hope that we can help take some of the financial burden off of Jamie's shoulders so she can strictly concentrate on her health and fight through this. Anything Helps!
