Jamie Bloomfield

Hi, my name is Valerie Park and I am looking to help my friend Jamie Bloomfield and her husband Jesse. This is a picture of them and their beloved dog. They have fallen on hard times due to poor health. Jamie has rheumatoid arthritis and Jesse recently required surgery on his wrist. They are currently experiencing homelessness. Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto immune disorder that attacks the joints. It causes disability and extreme pain. Jamie is unable to work and is not yet receiving disability income. Jesse is working, and paying their necessary bills, but they are living in their car. They lost their last apartment and are struggling to afford new housing. Their income goes towards car payment, car insurance, health insurance (Jamie requires medications), cell phone and food. Unfortunately this means they are unable to save the necessary money for first, last and deposit on a new apartment. This go fund me is intended to help them raise that money so they can secure safe housing. I am hoping to raise $3,000 for this effort, as even the most affordable rentals where they live in Tucson require $2,800-$3,000 up front. I am putting in some "seed" money to get started. If you can find it in your heart and you are able, please contribute to this funding effort. It is for a good cause for worthy people who are struggling. This is the first go fund me effort I've ever organized and I don't take lightly asking people for their donations. Any amount helps and is much appreciated.
