On December 27, 2022, Jamie Caffelle suddenly and tragically passed away, leaving his loving wife and 4 year old daughter: Kristen and Gabriella. On behalf of our dear and loving friend, Kristen Caffelle, we dedicate this fundraiser page to their sweet baby girl, Gabriella Caffelle, who will now be without her daddy, at the age of 4 and sweet Kristen who is now without the love of her life & rock!

Kristen and Jamie’s journey together began as a fairy tale love story.

During Kristens pregnancy, an ultrasound changed everything, revealing that Gabriella had a large mass on her lung that was pushing against her heart, windpipe, and adjacent lung. Gabriella has recovered from the unimaginable and doctors continue to monitor the regeneration of her lungs each year.

After surviving the unthinkable with her health, this holiday season, Gabriella’s father Jamie suffered from a fatal medical emergency. Kristen was left devastated and utterly heartbroken and Gabriella will now grow up without her father.

For those who know Jamie, he became your friend from the moment you met him. His friendly, vibrant and larger than life personality instantly changed the energy in the room. He cared deeply for his family and friends and showed up during the hard times because that’s the stand up guy he was.

Gabriella is the best combination of her parents. She carries Kristen’s inner strength, which has been with her since infancy, and Jamie’s brilliant vivacity for life. At four years old, Gabriella already experienced a lifetime of unimaginable events. Gabriella has the continued love of her mother, grandparents, family, friends, and community.

The community is absolutely devastated at this huge loss and we want to rally around Kristen and Gabby during this tragic time and ensure we can do everything in our power to support them and walk with them hand-in-hand, during this tragedy. Kristen is a stay at home mommy to their sweet 4 year old Gabby & our goal is to take every single future and present financial burden of this tragic loss off these sweet girls, and shower them in love and support.
