Jamie McIntyre- a treasured human and friend

This is our beautiful courageous friend and coworker Jamie. On August 9th 2019 she was diagnosed with advanced stage 3C ovarian cancer. (Hysterectomy & 6 rounds of chemo) She fought bravely and made a miraculous recovery. However on February 26th 2021 - she was hospitalized from a seizure which was the result of a 2 cm brain tumour which they called a reoccurrence from the ovarian (brain surgery & 5 rounds of radiation. Again she showed her bravery. She returned to work and single-handedly staffed our 911 centre sometimes having to do this remotely.

Then on April 14th of 2023, she was told about the reoccurrence of the brain tumour and she heads back for more brain surgery on on the 18th of April.

Our employer does not provide extended healthcare so she will alone in this battle , not only for her life again, but with no income.

Throughout her journey she has shown us all what it means to have faith and be positive and I am hoping we can show her our gratitude and how much she means to everyone she has in her life.
