Jamie Rae’s Transition Fund (hair replacement)

Jamie Rae is a 27 year old trans woman living is Asbury Park, NJ. She is fundraising for hair replacement surgery - a procedure that is not covered by her insurance yet will aid tremendously in her journey of healing through physical transition. The full cost of the procedure is $14,000 - we are currently raising money for half the price in the interest of making her GoFundMe goal. For folks who would like to help but do not have experience with trans people, Jamie experiences gender dysphoria, which, in her life, looks like pain due to a deep disconnection between her body and her true identity. Jamie’s biggest point of dysphoria is her balding, which makes this procedure absolutely necessary for her wellbeing.

Jamie is currently training to be a life coach for folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. She is passionate about helping others in her community.  A fiery Aries, Jamie is always willing to put others’ needs before her own.
