Two years ago, Jamie Hudlow was leading a fairly normal life. He was living and working in Chattanooga, TN, making ends meet. Then, one day he blacked out. The next thing he knew he was in the hospital being told he had a brain tumor. The clinical name is Astrocytoma Stage 2 Cancer and the median survival time after diagnosis is four years.
Jamie has since had two surgeries and is currently undergoing chemo treatments. This illness has robbed him of the ability to work and even drive a car. He has gone from a self-sufficient life to one that requires him to humbly accept the kindness of friends to help him out.
Jamie is not married and has no kids. His father is in an assisted living facility and his brother and sister don’t live in Chattanooga so he needs his friends.
His needs are not substantial. He could use help with his rent, transportation costs (he relies on public transportation to get around), food, prescriptions and just day-to-day expenses.
Jamie has always put others in front of himself. Now he needs our help.
