Jamie's Atlantis Fellowship becoming Dr. Cain
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Jamie and I am currently a biology pre-med student with a minor in business attending Walsh University. I am an active member of Sigma Zeta, an honors science society and also work two part-time jobs. I was recently accepted into the Atlantis Fellowship Program for a 3 week program. In this fellowship I will shadow doctors in Cape Verde, Africa each weekday being able to gain +20 hours a week in shadowing opportunities. In addition I have the opportunity to earn a certificate from Harvard Medical school! The Atlantis fellowship exists to help students such as myself to gain a passion and vision for future medicine. All these amazing opportunities will help to boost my application and knowledge when applying to graduate school. This fellowship is a very selective program making this a once in a lifetime opportunity.
While I am so thankful to be involved in this program, the total cost of a fellowship is $5,499 not including travel expenses such as flights, flights are looking to be around the price of $2,500. This particular fellowship will be such an amazing opportunity and learning experience, that being said I will need funding for this trip. I will be leaving June 22nd-July 12th.
No gift is too small any donation is greatly appreciated, $5, $25, $100 is all appreciated! Your donation will be a huge helping hand to help get me one step closer to my dream of studying medicine.
