Jamie’s Let’s beat this cancer fund!

My name is Jamie Munster (Dale)

I got married on November 7th and two months later was diagnosed with cancer. I have two beautiful step-daughters that I love with my whole heart. I am an assistant director of special education and I have dedicated my life to helping others and now I need help myself.

On January 17th I had a surgery to biopsy my uterus and see why I was having recurrent miscarriages. @justinmunster and I had suffered multiple miscarriages in our attempts to have a baby. On my journey to address my fertility issues they discovered I had an abnormally thick Uterine lining.

On January 22nd I got the news that the biopsy came back positive for Uterine cancer. This was a shock and we were obviously devastated.

After a second opinion biopsy requested by my oncologist, they found the cancer is mixed grade 3 and grade 1. This means there is no option for fertility preservation.

On February 22nd I will be having surgery to remove all of my reproductive organs.

This is huge double whammy for us because this means not only do I now have to go through cancer treatments and the fear and sickness that comes with that, but we also have no hope to be able to have a baby.

We have processed this and continue to mourn, but we are trying our best to remain positive as we go through this terrible experience.

We are facing a huge mental, emotional and financial struggle ahead. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I struggle with asking for help. I prefer to do things myself and figure it out on my own. But this experience is forcing me to realize I can’t do this on my own.

I will be out of work for several weeks without pay, and we will have an ever increasing number of medical bills as I go through treatment. Because of this I will be setting up a go fund me in hopes that people who are able, are willing to help us through this hardship.

I know that God is good and will provide if I can get past my pride and ask for help.

I appreciate all the love, support and prayers I have received so far and I will continue to fight my hardest to beat this.
