The Jamila Ezell Family Fund

This week, we lost an amazing woman, Jamila Ezell, to cancer, and we are heartbroken. She was only 46, with four children (Janae 27, Jayla 16, BJ 13, and Tre 11), husband Darrin, and rich in family and friends. Jamila was one of a kind, absolutely full of life, and her energy, positivity, and spirit affected everyone she came in contact with. 

She was my work wife at UNC Health, and I have been searching for a tangible way to help her kids as they try to manage this world without her. Together with Janae, her oldest daughter, we would very much like your help in growing a fund to help with funeral expenses, meals, and whatever her family needs. Money isn’t everything, but hopefully it can ease the burden, and let her kids know how much they are loved and supported.
