Jammy Thornock Fire Recovery
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Amber Hamilton, and I am raising money to help my cousin Jammy Thornock and his family get through a tough time. Today, February 24, 2022, Jammy's house tragically burnt down. His daughter Jadyn was home alone when the fire occurred and managed to get out of the house with Frank, the family dog. Everyone is safe; however, the next few months will be difficult as nearly everything else was a total loss. As many of you know, this wasn't just any house. In the 1990s, my Grandmother, Mary Sutliff, relocated from Los Angeles, CA to Vail, Iowa and built this home. This house became the bedrock for the family. When my Grandmother sadly passed away in 2019, the house's fate was unknown, but Jammy agreed to take over the house to keep the house in the family. It is also the infamous location of the beloved Annual Uncanny Hootenanny. Many people ask how they can help, and donating to his GoFundMe is a great way to help. All of the funds will go directly to Jammy to use over the next few months for housing/replacing material things/meals as he sifts through the ashes of what was and waits while insurance takes its due course. Any little bit helps. Thank you,
Much Love,
Jammy's cousin Amber
