Jan Carlo “JC” Mendiola, husband and father of 2, proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Infantry for 10 years. In those 10 years, JC deployed 5 times to include combat deployments to Ramadi, Iraq and Marjah, Afghanistan. Ultimately achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, JC served with 2nd Battalion 4th Marines as an infantry squad leader and later served as an Instructor at the School of Infantry for 3 years.
Unfortunately, on March 4th 2019, JC was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. JC is now facing 36 weeks of chemo treatments during which his ability to work and attend school will be significantly reduced. As a result, this decorated Marine will experience significant financial hardships without the support of his family, friends, and countrymen.
Please find some time to show some support for this deserving Marine during these hard times and help ensure that his focus is solely dedicated to locating, closing with, and destroying this new enemy.
