Jana Bernard’s Sketch Comedy Production

Hi!

My name is Jana Bernard. I am a producer, director, writer, actor and comedian.

For the past six years I’ve been working at Saturday Night Live, acting professionally, and performing stand-up in comedy clubs throughout New York City at Broadway Comedy Club, The Stand, Stand Up New York, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club .

Now, I'm directing and producing the first studio sketches that I wrote.

I am very excited to be shooting the sketches in a professional green screen studio with a professional production crew.

As you can imagine, production costs a pretty penny.

Women create gift registries for their weddings all the time, so why can't we do it for our careers?! The difference here is that I'm not looking to walk down the aisle. I'm aiming for a red carpet.

This GoFundMe is will support the production costs, a Sketch Comedy Registry, (if you will) of things I need to complete this large production.

At this point, I do not yet have NBC, Comedy Central, or Netflix funding. Key word: yet.

My parents taught me that "a dream is a goal with a deadline." And the sketches are set to be released in January 2023.
