It is with great sadness to deliver to you the news that Jana passed away Friday February 24th. On Sunday February 19th, Jana went into cardiac arrest while at home with her husband. Although, her heart had stopped they were able to revive her and she spent 5 days in the critical care unit at Evergreen Hospital. Unfortunately, during this time because of the 17 minutes her brain was without oxygen she started to experience seizures and her body was not responding to the medication. On Friday February 24th her husabnd, children and sister made the very difficult decision to free her from this pain.
Jana will be deeply missed leaving behind quite the legacy. She will be remembered for her upbeat, friendly, patient, and genuinely caring personality. You could always find her with a smile on her face and a lot of passion for whatever she was working on. Her positive outlook on life was contagious and a great joy to be around.
As we know medical bills and funeral costs are expensive and overwhelming. The goal and hope is to gather the funds needed to allow her family to focus on celebrating her life and mourning her loss without the worry of the financial burden that sickness can bring.
Donated funds will go directly to the Monares family to assist with all of the medical costs that included but are not limitied to: MRI's, Continuous EEG tests, CT-scans, Paramedics, medication, life support, Ambulance, ER and critical care unit stay of 5 days, etc.
