Janasta and Vincent Chaisson
Donation protected
On September 23rd and 24th, hurricane Fiona passed over Isle Madame Nova Scotia. During the storm, the home of Janasta and Vincent Chaisson lost its roof, causing irreparable damage to the structure and furniture due to flooding. Janasta, a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) worker who worked through the pandemic, and Vincent, who is on disability and unable to work, lost everything they had during the storm. Due to financial trouble prior to the hurricane, they were unable to make the necessary adjustments to their home required to obtain home insurance. This left them both with no financial aid when they needed it the most.
My name is Cody Pardy, I and those I'm raising money for live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I started this fundraiser to help raise money for Janasta and Vincent, my aunt and uncle, to have a place to stay and to cover any necessities they may need. With the help of generous individuals such as yourselves, we may be able to help them recover from this tragic event.
