Janay Geng-Meier Funeral and Memorial Costs

Hi,

My name is Gabrielle Parks, and I am the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Briar Cliff University, and Janay’s coach in college. We have started this fundraiser on behalf of Briar Cliff University. The past few days have been a blur, and we are heartbroken with the untimely passing of Janay from a blood clot in her right lung. Janay was loved by many and was the funniest person any of us had ever met. She was a light in all of our lives.

As Janay ventured over to the United States to play college soccer, we would love to help Janay's family out with the costs of transporting Janay back to her native Canada, and other costs associated with her funeral and memorial. We want to help ease the burden of saying goodbye to a daughter, sister, and friend of many.

On behalf of the women’s soccer team, multicultural club and Briar Cliff University as a whole please help us in providing Janay's family with just a little bit of relief so they are able to grieve and remember Janay in the best way possible, with laughter, and a lot of Canadian National Anthem singing.
