Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) urged us, Muslims, to bury our dead as soon as possible. Muslims around the world follow this Sunnah (teaching and practice).
Islamic International Funeral Services offers complete funeral services, which includes body release, body transport, body wash (ghussal), janazah prayer and burial. Over the past few weeks we have put together a team of healthcare professionals, local religious leaders, and volunteers with over a decade of Janazah washing experience. The goal of the team was to develop “COVID-19 Best Practice Janazah Washing Standards” in accordance with current laws and Islamic Jurisprudence.
- There is no doubt that we are faced with difficult decisions beyond our control related to burial of our loved ones during this critical time.
- Hospitals are running out of space and are now taking their trailer filled containers of dead Muslims to NYC HART'S ISLAND for Mass burial.

- We created a Sadaqa Janazah (Burial Fund) to provide financial assistance to our brothers and sisters for Islamic burials.
- As a Muslim and human being it is important to receive a proper burial.
