In loving memory of Jane Geary

Our beloved Jane passed away unexpectedly on December 20th, 2023. Jane was a wonderful sister, mother, and friend, who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her son John, sister Mary, and brother Hal.

Jane was known as a selfless friend who always put others before herself. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude were an inspiration to all who knew her. Jane left the working world when she was blessed with the birth of her only son, John. She then turned her attention to raising John and supporting her community through volunteer work. She was living a blessed life until 2017 when she lost her husband Dale when John was a junior in high school. Life was much more difficult after Jane and John lost Dale, but Jane gave selflessly to make sure that John had the support needed until he graduated from college. Just this past May, John graduated with Honors from UIC with a degree in Biochemistry. He had just begun his career when Jane passed away unexpectedly. We are all devastated by Jane’s sudden loss and were not prepared for the cost of a funeral service. We want to give Jane the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Jane’s funeral. We need to raise $5,000 by 1/15 to cover the cost of the funeral and related expenses.
