HELP JANE LAIDLER - REACH OSG -WORLD FINALS DEC. '24

FUNDRAISING REASON:

Hi, My name is Michelle, and I am helping to set up a fund raising page for Jane Laidler. Jane is representing Australia in the Official Strongman Games - World Finals in Wisconsin USA, 5 December-8 December 2024. With the cost of flights (international and domestic), competition entry fees, equipment, accommodation, travelling expenses, day to day expenses, plus $US not been in her favour, also the fact she does not have an income whilst she is travelling, she has had to resort to seeking your help in achieving this amazing milestone.

BACKGROUND:

Jane is a local business owner from Campbells Creek Victoria.

Attended Campbells Creek Primary School and her senior years at Castlemaine High School.

Jane then went to Victoria University to complete her Advanced Beauty Therapy Diploma.

Jane Laidler Beauty Therapist, began 21 years ago as a cottage industry and now has a loyal clientele.

Jane has and is very supportive of the region’s various fundraising activities.

She has been a local postie for the past 25 years.

Jane also is a Motorcycle License Testing Officer at Austlink in Bendigo. Busy girl!

SPORTING:-

Brown Belt in the Shito Ryu discipline - KARATE

Beginning in 1992 , Jane has won many trophies, shields and ribbons in her participation with the Daylesford Speedway. Along with her father Dennis and uncle, Paul Laidler, they have made an indelible mark in the history of this club.

A few years ago Jane decided to further her fitness levels and began swimming in the local Castlemaine Fitness Centre pool.

This then inspired her to join the Maine Fitness gym , who fully supported her in attaining her fitness goals.

Eighteen months ago, Jane started with Warrior Fit Strength Studio, under the coaching expertise of Charlie Lendon and Aaron Lightburn (who incidentally are both attending the OSG finals as competitors). As the saying goes, Jane, went from strength to strength.

Qualified for Official Strongman Games 2024 in USA

2nd LDS - Melbourne 2024

This passion and dedication has been rewarded by her selection for the OSG (Official Strongman Games) world finals, in the US. December 2024.

I realise that times are tough for one and all but if you can get behind Jane in her representing Australia, Victoria, Castlemaine, Campbells Creek and donate towards her goal it would be ever so much appreciated.
