Jane Lumley for Miss California USA 2024

It's me! Miss Santa Ana USA 2024. And what's better than Miss Santa Ana? Miss California!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your donation consideration. I am a state finalist for Miss California USA 2024 and while this may be my first California pageant, it's not my first rodeo! I placed third runner-up and was Miss Congeniality at Miss New Hampshire Teen USA 2016, top 10 at Miss NH Teen 2017, and was in the top 20 at Miss New York USA 2019. I'm beyond excited to compete again in my new state.

I moved to California after living in New York City for four years. I learned a lot and grew as a woman while pursuing a career in cosmetology. When I decided that path wasn't for me, I packed up my car and drove to sunny California. I am now working for a land development company and being given opportunities to reach goals I didn't realize I had. I am harnessing my motivation and work ethic to prepare myself to be the best Miss California the state has ever had.

As Miss California, I would like to advocate for mental health and the effect that healthy eating and exercise can have on your well-being. My goal is to visit classrooms across the state and talk to kids about how they can take care of themselves and each other in these unpredictable, challenging times. Being a role model that children trust and instill motivation is my true goal.

The Miss USA pageant has been celebrating beauty, intelligence, and empowerment for over 70 years. They provide young women with the platform to showcase their talents, intelligence, and leadership skills. If I am crowned Miss California USA 2024, I will not only go on to represent California at Miss USA this summer, but will receive other various prizes and services, including participating in official charity and social events and getting the education, experiences, and values to help fulfill my future career goals.
