Jane Restauarant Employee Relief Fund

Due to the global crisis of Covid 19 we closed our doors at Jane Restaurant in Santa Barbara and Goleta on Monday, March 15th and effectively all of our near 50 employees lost employment.  We are raising money for our staff in an effort to help them bridge the gap during this time.  These are individuals out of work without a financial cushion that still have rent and bills  accumulating. Without a date set for them to return to work many of our staff members are struggling to make ends meet and have families to provide for. One of our top priories at this time is to retain our incredible and talented staff so that when permitted we may open our doors again and help our staff return to work.  Our goal is to raise enough money through this campaign so that each employee would receive $4,000. This would help cover rent and cost of living for 2 months. The staff needs this money immediately as many have still not been able to receive any funding from their unemployment claims. The government is overwhelmed by the immense impact this unprecedented pandemic has created slowing down their ability to process claims. 100% of the proceeds from this account will go directly to the staff members of Jane Restaurant in Goleta and Santa Barbara.
