Savage Devastation on the McKenzie in Vida, Oregon

Donation protected

The Holiday Farm Fire in Oregon has devastated the lives of two beautiful people, Jeff and Janet Savage. They have lost their beautiful home above the historic Goodpasture Bridge, their exquisite land, their investment rental property and all their worldly belongings. These two have the biggest hearts and have given their lives to helping others in need.

While Janet and Jeff have insurance, almost all of it will be allocated to rebuilding the two homes destroyed by the fire. Many have reached out asking how to help. The most immediate need is help with clean-up of their properties – sifting through what remains from the fire, removing burned debris and damaged trees which may present future danger to rebuilt homes and hauling all of this away to create a clean slate on which to rebuild. They also left their home with very few clothes and belongings. Replacing just the daily necessities is costly.

Their desire is to bring both properties back to life ASAP to live out the dreams they were building. Those dreams include a retreat space for rest, reflection, and renewal. Should there be any monies remaining, they would go directly to helping the recovery efforts in their local community of Vida.

We hope you will support us in giving them what they need to rebuild their sacred spaces.  Every donation counts, big or small, and is much appreciated.
