Janet Borth's Medical Expenses

For those of you that know Janet Borth, you know four things for certain:

1. She always speaks her mind

2. She’d give you the shirt off her back

3. She’s got a dark sense of humor (and let’s be honest, you probably do too, it’s a dark world)

4. She’s rarely at a loss for words

Except when she needs help.

     After years of fighting through everything life has thrown at her, she’s found a formidable opponent – cancer.  Or as it has been deemed JANCER.  And Jancer, along with everything else in life, is starting to be too much of a burden to carry.  Even for the woman who slings armoires over her back at a garage sale and then hauls it home with ¾ of it sticking out the back of her car.

     There are too many Foo Fighter concerts in the future to miss.  There are too many intriguing auto-biographies too read.  There are too many true murder shows and however many more seasons of Atlanta to watch.  There are too many babies to smooch and hug.  There are too many times to look upon her daughters with love and laughter and hope.  There are too many summer days and bonfire nights….there are too many trips still to be had.  There are too many seasons of What We Do in the Shadows to wonder where it’s going to go.  There are too many bike rides and scooter rides to miss.  There are too many family members and friends to visit & laugh with.

     At every step of this journey, she’s managed to find humor and keep going.  Through baths (which she hates) to stave off (sort of) the body aches, and tons of anti-nausea medicine, she’s still laughing.  But while she’s been boxing with Jancer, working her job, and slowly watching as the mountain of medical bills grows in the distance, I can see the fear in her eyes.

So I’m doing the one thing that Janet can’t – Ask for your help.  Help to relieve some of the financial burden that is mounting.  Help to allow Janet to focus on the real fight KICKING JANCER’S ASS!!  Please give what you can.
