Hi, my name is Ashton, and I have decided to make this go fund me to be able to give my mother the celebration of life she deserves and to help pay for funeral expenses; she did not have life insurance. As most of us know, she passed unexpectedly, and this will help our family with just that and a headstone we can visit, always to have a place to go when we're missing her or need to talk. My mother was only 60; she passed so young. We will miss her dearly. It broke our hearts to lose her, but she did not go alone; apart of us went with her the day god took her home. Our mom had health problems we didn't know were so severe. She didn't tell us much, probably not to worry us; we have decided to gather all her kids and fly down to Alabama for a celebration of life one year from her passing. We will reach out to family and friends with more details once we have a better plan. My mom loved everyone she came to know she was always doing something and always loved so hard, she made sure we new that. she will be miss and she was very loved. Again anything helps, even just praying for my siblings and me during this hard time. This has been very hard for me to process but I’m starting to come around and feel better. 

My mother (Jan Wood) has passed away unexpectedly as of August 25th, I have been through mixed emotions so I have not came out publicly about my family’s loss. Nobody was ready for this, unfortunately my mother did not have life insurance set up yet so this has impacted us financially. One of my mothers wishes was to be buried in her home state of Alabama next to her father or mother. To do this me and all my siblings are trying to pull some strings because it is what means to most to us as a whole. We have already covered funds for her funeral/viewing which was very hard, yet we have some things left to accomplish which is a headstone and a plot at a cemetery next to one of her parents as well as a memorial/celebration of life in Alabama. We couldn’t make this happen right away so we have no choice but to plan it for august 25th of next year. We don’t like asking for anything but times are hard right now and if anyone can donate anything it even small amounts it would help us tremendously and be greatly appreciated.
