Janet Fawcett Fundraiser

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED SO FAR IN ORDER TO REACH OUR TARGET. YOU ARE ALL INCREDIBLE!! 

The target was initially set at approximately 4 weeks wages which was for the length of Janet’s radiotherapy treatment. Any further donations now will help towards time off after treatment which of course, will be gratefully received. 

Hi, I'm Gemma and together with my incredible work colleagues, we are trying to raise money for our lovely friend and co-worker, Janet Fawcett.

Janet was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and has undergone an intense course of chemotherapy together with a mastectomy.

At the beginning of May she is due to start a course of radiotherapy.

Unfortunately, the company that we work for has now stopped her pay completely and therefore she is struggling to pay bills etc. so much so, she is considering coming back to work whilst she is undergoing her radiotherapy treatment.

We would like to try and raise enough money so that she can concentrate on getting herself better, beat the bastard that is cancer and not have to come back to work to pay her bills.

We would be extremely grateful for any donations that we receive, even if it is just a couple of quid.
