Janet Freeman is a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and mother of 5 beautiful children. She has been struggling with severe headaches, intense vertigo, nausea, memory and vision problems, and anxiety that has affected her emotions for over 8 years. Over the past few years she has been prescribed medicine that treated the symptoms from many different doctors, but didn't really address the issue. Thanks to the wonders of modern medicine the root cause of all she has been struggling with has been discovered: she has a Pineal Cyst tumor that has grown to a considerable size near the center of her brain. At the age of 49 this has all come as a shock to both Janet and her family.
Thankfully she has wonderful medical professionals in her corner, and she will be traveling to Houston, Texas to undergo brain surgery next month (her surgeon is a world reknowned neurosurgeon specializing in this type of surgery). With the current COVID-19 situation throughout the world, however, there are extra precautions that the surgical unit is requiring prior to surgery: Namely her and her husband are having to travel to Texas a few days ahead of the surgery to ensure they are not COVID-19 carriers. They will also be staying in a nearby hotel for a two week monitoring period after she is released from the hospital following her surgery. They will be in Houston, Texas from July 12th through July 28.
Thankfully they do have insurance, but it will fall woefully short of the overall cost of the trip to Texas, the out of pocket costs for what is a very expensive surgery, as well as the physical therapy and other ancillary costs associated with this surgery/recovery. It is impossible to predict the financial burden this dear family will face, but together, we can help them carry this burden at this time. If you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated!
