Janet Hatfield Memorial
Donation protected
Janet Hatfield was a much-loved wife, mother and grandmother to her family, and a good friend to many. She was also a teacher and house parent to many more children through the years at Bedstone College.
Seven years after the diagnosis of the recurrence of breast cancer, which she had successfully overcome previously, Janet passed away peacefully on 28th September 2020, surrounded by the family and cared for in hospice by a dedicated palliative care team.
This year, it is difficult to have the celebration that we would have hoped for, to offer everyone who knew her the chance to remember her. She was a selfless and caring person to all she met and so we have set up this page where donations will be shared equally between three causes: St Michael's Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and St Andrew's Church, Presteigne.
Janet was always heartened and surprised by the many positive and wonderful recollections of those she had looked after and supported. She will not be forgotten by anyone who knew her.
Any donations, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated.
