I'm a single parent of 15-year-old son.  I was in a car accident on Monday afternoon. My car was totaled. The accident was not my fault, the lady ran a red light.  My 4 yr yr old grandson was with me, luckily he only sustained a seatbelt burn on his neck. I unfortunately sustained a much worse injury. My fibula bone pierced through my leg. I also broke my ankle bone in the back.
I had surgery Monday night in Cadillac to stabilize my leg. They transferred me to Traverse City, I had surgery Wednesday afternoon I had plates, screws and pins put in it my leg. 
This will require alot of doctor appointments and months of physical therapy.
