Janet Mitchell Heart Attack

From Janet’s kids: On Friday around 1:30pm my mom had a heart attack while her my dad and my younger brother were on there way to the store. My dad and brother had to pull her from the truck and a lady who is a nurse help assist by doing CPR on her on the lawn of the Cleburne court house the first responder were able to get a weak heart beat and blood pressure. The ambulance said that on the way to Cleburne Walls hospital that they lost her heart beat and blood pressure that they had to keep her hooked up to the oxygen. When she arrived to the hospital they immediately hooked her up to the ventilator and placed her in a medical induced coma and was able to stabilize her. Her test came back normal at Walls. She was careflited to Harris South West where they did a angiogram and it came back normal. They did a chest xray and found a mass on her lungs, they started treating her for pneumonia, they said her heart was only beating at 30 % and her heart muscle are weak. This morning she started going into cardiac shock so they careflited her to Harris downtown, they are still trying to figure out what caused her heart attack, and at this point they are doing a procedure of putting a catheter in her neck to monitor her heart beat and blood flow. They are giving her meds and still have her in the medical induce coma and the doctor has given her a 50% chance at this point. Please pray for my family especially for my dad he is so toren up. So much has happen in the past 24 hours some details are not in here, but I tried updating the best I could. Thank you you for all the prayers!

To make things worse, her husband, Jerry lost his job this month and this money will help them pay for COBRA benefits that Janet desperately needs.
