Recovery from a trimalleolar fracture

Hello everyone , my name is Janet and I am a 21 year old single mother. I am creating this gofundme hoping to relieve some of the stress of my surgical and post-operative cost’s!

On February 1st, i was walking down the stairs to pick up my baby and I slipped and injured my ankle, which ended up being a trimalleolar ankle fracture meaning my ankle joint was broken in three places. Due to the severity of the injury, surgery was needed in where hardware was placed and string to attach the bones that separated. I will be unable to work or drive for the next 6 months . El 1 de febrero, estaba bajando las escaleras para recoger a mi bebé y me resbalé y me lesioné el tobillo, lo que terminó siendo una fractura de tobillo trimaleolar, lo que significa que mi articulación del tobillo se rompió en tres lugares. Debido a la gravedad de la lesión, se necesitó una cirugía donde se colocó tornillos y una cuerda para unir los huesos que se separaron. No podré trabajar ni conducir durante los próximos 6 meses.
