Help Me Work to Repealthe8th
With the referendum to repeal the 8th happening, I want to able to give it my all.
Having spent the last number of years on my new degree and volunteering to repeal the 8th, in the lead up to the referendum, I want to use my skills and expertise as much as possible, but I need help to do this.
I am looking to connect with people who are time poor but can donate, to help fund work I would otherwise be unable to do over the coming weeks.
Reaching €1,000 means I will blog 3 times a week with updates, explainers and commentary as the referendum unfolds. Also travel to any meeting in the greater Dublin area, live tweet the event. It will mean I can also accept more speaking engagements.
Reaching €2,000 means (in addition to the previous goal), I can also produce a series of bite sized podcasts with the talking points about abortion as health care, the facts and figures to back that up and how to answer the awkward questions which friends and family may put to you.
Reaching €3,000 means (in addition to the previous goals), then I can travel to 10 rural counties, go to public meetings, meet with activists & record a podcast. I will also live tweet and blog my journey.
Reaching €4,000 means (in addition to the previous goals), I will cover half the country traveling to at least 18 counties. Meeting people who have been effected by the restrictions caused by the 8th amendment.
Reaching €5,000 means (in addition to the previous goals), I can travel and talk about reproductive justice in all of the 26 counties, aiming to cover the entire country before the 25th of May.
Any excess fundraised I will be donating to NeedabortionIreland.org
