Janet's Torres Memorial

Hello Family and Friends,

We created this GoFundMe to help cover some of the memorial service costs for our mom, Janet Torres. She passed suddenly from health complications, and our family is deeply devastated. She was the heart of our family, and we hope her love will live on through her children and grandchildren.

Our mother was someone who touched every person's heart with her loving words and actions. If you were around, chances are she offered you a snack, meal, or gift. If she knew you were meeting someone, she would send something for them too. She lived humbly and was happily focused on her family, friends, and pets. She loved movies, music, and good food (and made the best Spanish rice!).  She experienced many tribulations/life threatening situations in life, but always continued to live life with a loving open heart until the evening of July 25th when God called her home.  

Church memorial services will be at Rosemead Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, August 27th, at 11 am. After the church service, her ashes will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery around 12:30 pm. Then, we will return to gather downstairs at Rosemead Church of the Nazarene to celebrate her eternal life with family, food, pictures, and shared memories.
